LETTERS : Expenses of Clinton’s Culver City Visit
While President Clinton’s visit to Culver City may have been an honor when he came to outline his health care plan, it must be noted that the city now faces police and fire expenses in excess of $15,000.
The American Assn. of Retired Persons, which with White House blessing sponsored the event, now refuses to pay the bill. The elderly are the ones who strongly supported Clinton’s election in 1992.
Perhaps the bill should be sent to the Democratic Party.
