COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Loza’s Hat Trick in First Half Helps Chapman Rout Redlands

Fernando Loza scored three goals in the first half as Chapman rolled to a 5-0 lead on the way to an 8-0 victory over Redlands in nonconference men’s soccer Saturday night at Chapman.

Chapman improved to 12-4-3.

In Golden State Athletic Conference men’s soccer:

Southern California College 2, Point Loma Nazarene 1--Mark Donaldson scored the game-winner for host SCC (10-9, 7-4).

In Mountain Pacific Sports Federation women’s soccer:

Pepperdine 4, Cal State Fullerton 2 (OT)--Freshman Jennifer Evans scored three goals, including the tying score with two minutes left and the game-winner in overtime, for host Pepperdine (11-4).
