RAMS : Lang May Be Activated Soon

Share

Running back David Lang, who has been sidelined since training camp because of a knee injury, took a regular turn in practice Friday along with running backs Jerome Bettis and Cleveland Gary.

Lang has been practicing on a part-time basis recently, but he appeared to make it through Friday’s full workout without difficulty.

The Rams had written Lang in as their starting fullback before the season and maintain he provides the most speed at the position. The team will continue to monitor his knee for swelling, but there’s a chance he might be active for the Nov. 14 game with the Falcons.

Wide receiver Flipper Anderson, who sat out last week’s game against the 49ers because of bruised ribs, practiced without difficulty.

The Rams took off Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and, after Friday’s practice, they adjourned for two more days off before returning Monday.
