Save Orange Trees

Share

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if someone (hopefully Donald Bren) would leave a small remembrance (of that) for which this county was named? The most recent removal (“Orange Trees Losing Ground,” Oct. 24) of the very few orange trees left in this county makes me sick.

In the 1940s, my family bought an orange ranch (where the Anaheim Arena now stands), which allowed me to have very fond memories of what this beautiful county once looked like. Won’t someone please do the same for others? We have begun the awareness of the endangered species in this county. Let’s also include the orange tree in this awareness.
