LETTERS : ADHERING TO THE GOLD STANDARD

Jonathan Gold’s “Do-It-Yourselfers” (Three on the Town, Oct. 10) was refreshing. Too often a columnist’s style steals attention from the purported topic. By contrast, Gold’s clear, precise and informative comments on a talent that artists have that usually goes unnoticed were entertaining and instructive.
