Bad Taste Is in the Eye of the Outraged

I was astounded to read the article by Elizabeth Mehren (“In Your Face With Lousy Taste,” Oct. 21). I found it hard to believe that your outrageously liberal newspaper would print such a fine article.

In a society that applauds vulgarity, it relieves me to find out there are still some people out there (who) appreciate good taste.
