Nextel Seen Buying Motorola Licenses: Nextel Communications Inc., a radio dispatch operator, is expected to announce that it will buy mobile-radio licenses from Motorola Inc., analysts said. Nextel said it will make an announcement today involving Motorola, but did not elaborate. Rutherford, N.J.-based Nextel is working with other radio dispatchers to buy such licenses in order to build a mobile-radio network that could rival the cellular phone industry.
