Melita Named Senior V.P. of Business Development for SCEcorp Subsidiary

* S. Daniel Melita has been appointed senior vice president in charge of business development for Mission Energy Co., an SCEcorp subsidiary with 33 power projects worldwide. Melita joined Mission Energy in 1992 as vice president and managing director of European operations. In April, he will relocate from London to the Irvine headquarters, where he will be responsible for day-to-day management of Mission Energy’s business development activities worldwide. Robert M. Edgell, the executive vice president previously responsible for business development, will now work in the office of the chief executive.
