Use Bedding Plants for Winter Color

Share

Bedding plants are those “sure bets” the gardener can count on for winter color especially when little other color has been planned on from shrubs, trees or perennials.

Among those popular “bedders” are pansies, which give color from the day they are planted either in a mixture of colors or in solid shades of blue, yellow, white, red or rose. The fairy primrose with the light, dainty texture of its flowers and its shades of pink, rose, red, white and lavender will simply seem to bloom and bloom come winter.
