Surgical Centers Bought: Medical Care America Inc. in Dallas said Thursday it has purchased two surgical centers in Orange County for an undisclosed amount.
The company bought the Saddleback Outpatient Surgery Center, a Laguna Hills clinic with four operating rooms, and La Veta Surgical Center, an Orange clinic with three operating rooms.
The two centers are expected to handle about 6,500 surgical cases in 1994, Medical Care America said.
In Thursday trading on New York Stock Exchange, the company’s stock closed at $21 a share, down 62 cents.
