Regency Health Services Posts $1.7-Million Quarterly Profit

Regency Health Services Inc., the Newport Beach operator of specialty health-care facilities, posted a profit of $1.7 million, or 25 cents a share, for its first fiscal quarter, which ended Sept. 30.

That was 42% higher than the company’s earnings of $1.2 million, or 17 cents a share, for the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue showed a 46% gain, to $38.7 million from $26.5 million. The company said a recent acquisition contributed $5.7 million to total revenue.
