Magazine for Family: Helen Herzfeld Knisley, a Garden Grove entrepreneur, is publishing a magazine “geared to bringing the family together.”

Parents & kids Magazine, which hit the stands in March, is Knisley’s answer to her own quest for family-style activities. The magazine publishes a list of local events, children’s pages and articles for parents and grandparents.

With $30,000 as a start-up investment, Knisley said, she is hoping to post revenue of $45,000 in her first year.
