A sky diver collided with a small plane, sending it spinning to the ground Sunday in a crash that killed all four people on board.

Parachutist Alfred Peters was in stable condition in a hospital. A Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman said he broke a leg.

Peters was free-falling from another plane when he hit the tail section of the Piper Cherokee PA28, the FAA said. The names of the victims were being withheld pending notification of kin.
