Bass Are Drawn to Crawfish

The biggest largemouth bass showed little taste for the popular artificial lures the last week, preferring crawfish at Castaic Lake and nightcrawlers at Casitas.

Each lake produced a 13-pound bass, for Greg Long of Downey at Castaic and John Clapham of Camarillo at Casitas.
