Tina Thompson scored 23 points and Lisa Leslie added 22 and 13 rebounds as the 11th-ranked USC women’s basketball team defeated Athletes in Action, 89-63, in an exhibition game Saturday night at the Lyon Center.
USC trailed by two points at halftime, then outscored Athletes in Action, 52-29, in the second half.
Tracy Atwater added 16 points and Nicky McCrimmon had 10 for the Trojans.
USC held a 52-29 rebounding edge.
Lisa Foss led Athletes in Action with 22 points.
