World IN BRIEF : BRITAIN : Anglo-Irish Meeting Remains on Track

A planned Anglo-Irish summit meeting on Northern Ireland, threatened by disclosure of the British government’s secret contacts with the Irish Republican Army, will take place as scheduled on Friday, officials announced. But expectations for the meeting between British Prime Minister John Major and Irish Prime Minister Albert Reynolds, which will be held in Dublin, have been lowered.
