Malibu : Hazardous Waste Roundup
A citywide household hazardous waste roundup will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Malibu Civic Center parking lot.
Residents may bring up to five gallons or 50 pounds of motor oil, paints, household cleaners, pesticides and household and vehicle batteries for disposal. Items should be brought to the roundup site in a sturdy box, preferably in their original containers. Products should not be mixed. Explosives, ammunition and radioactive materials cannot be accepted.
The roundup, sponsored by Los Angeles County, will be at 23519 W. Civic Center Way. Entry is via Cross Creek Road. For information, call (800) 552-5218 or (310) 908-4286.
