JUST SAY NO: El Centrito de la Colonia, an Oxnard-based social service agency, has concluded an innovative campaign aimed at curbing drunk driving in the Latino community. . . . In partnership with Oxnard Adult School, El Centrito introduced the Spanish-language program to more than 2,000 English as a Second Language students this past week. . . . El Centrito representatives said the program is badly needed, noting that Latinos represent 80% of all drunk-driving arrests in Oxnard but make up only 54% of the city’s population. “That’s why we’re so pleased to provide this important information to the Latino community,” said Luann Rocha, El Centrito’s co-director.
