New Deal for Universal Pictures Producer: Rosalie Swedlin, who two years ago left her post as one of the top talent agents at Hollywood’s Creative Artists Agency to form a film production company at Universal Pictures, has reached an agreement with the studio that gives her the option to make movies elsewhere. Universal announced it is moving ahead with Swedlin’s first film, the urban drama “Clockers,” which Spike Lee will direct and Martin Scorsese will produce.
