Morocco Officer Gets Death for Rape of Boys

RABAT, Morocco —
A policeman has been sentenced to death for raping several boys and trafficking in pornographic videocassettes.
It was the second death sentence issued in Morocco this year to a police officer for repeated sex crimes.
Officials said Friday that Bouchaib Arbad was sentenced a day earlier in El Jadida, 120 miles south of Rabat. Thirteen accomplices were given prison terms ranging from four months to 10 years for illegal trafficking in pornography and alcohol.
