Voice Powered Sells Shares for $2.89 Million

Voice Powered Technology International Inc. in Canoga Park said Monday that it received about $2.89 million in cash in exchange for 961,538 shares of common stock that the company issued earlier this week.

The stock issuance was the result of the exercise of warrants that Voice Powered issued in September. The company develops and markets voice-recognition consumer electronic products.
