SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : New Mayor to Hold Meetings With Public
In one of her first announcements since becoming the city’s top public official earlier this month, Mayor Collene Campbell said she will hold regular meetings with the public at City Hall.
“For the time being, I’ll be in City Hall all day every other Wednesday,” Campbell said. “If I find that more people want to schedule time than can be accommodated during those eight hours, we’ll switch to every Wednesday.”
Residents can make an appointment to speak with Campbell during regular business hours by calling Carole Jacklin, the council services manager, at (714) 493-1171, Ext. 223.
Campbell said she looks forward to meeting with residents.
“I want to be accessible,” she said, “and I want people to know they can come to City Hall and be heard.”
