Orange County job seekers can tout their qualifications in a monthly magazine that expects to begin publishing next month.
For $39.95, those out of work can buy an ad in the magazine, Jobnet. The magazine then will be mailed to the hiring departments of 2,000 county businesses, said Jo Brown, publisher and editor.
Jobnet, at no additional cost, also will fax customers’ resumes to interested employers.
Brown created Jobnet to help jobless residents during Southern California’s long-running recession. She hopes to publish other editions for Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino counties and the San Francisco Bay Area.
