Three-Point Shot Lifts Boise State Past UCLA Women

Angie Evans made a three-point shot with eight seconds to play Sunday, lifting Boise State to a 66-64 victory over UCLA in women’s basketball at the Wooden Center.

UCLA (3-3) missed a chance to tie the score when Natalie Williams missed a shot at the buzzer.

Evans led the Broncos with 19 points, five assists and three steals. Reserve Michelle Schultz scored 12 points.

Williams led the Bruins with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Amy Jalewalia scored 17 points.

Boise State (7-2) overcame a 55-46 deficit in the last 8:54.
