Aurora Electronics Forms New Repair Unit in Sacramento

Aurora Electronics Inc., which offers repair and other services to electronics companies, said Wednesday that it has formed a new repair division in the Sacramento area to fix credit-card transaction machines.

The company said it would transfer 40 employees from its 140-person Sacramento field repair office to the new Aurora Merchant Systems division in Roseville, in the suburbs of Sacramento. No additional hires are planned.

Aurora has 330 employees in the Sacramento area, San Diego and at its headquarters in Irvine.
