Apple Pays Severance to Sculley’s Former Aides: The computer maker, which gave former Chairman John Sculley a multimillion-dollar severance package, disclosed that two of his top assistants got somewhat smaller packages. Albert A. Eisenstat, who was vice president and secretary, will receive $646,000, medical benefits and the right to exercise options to buy Apple Computer Inc. shares valued at $13.4 million. Robert L. Puette, former president of the Apple USA division, will get $147,778, a bonus that could run as high as $108,333 and a $105,000 fee for consulting services.
