John LeClair scored a goal and set up another as the Montreal Canadiens defeated the New York Rangers, 3-2, at Montreal on Saturday night.

The league-leading Rangers, beaten at home by Calgary last Wednesday, have lost two in a row for the first time since they lost three consecutively in October.
