Countywide : Holiday Closings

Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The following will be closed in observance of the holiday:

* City, county, state and federal offices, except the city offices of Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Garden Grove, La Habra, La Palma, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach, Orange, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park, Westminster, Yorba Linda.

* Schools, including colleges and universities except Chapman University.

* County, state and federal courthouses.

* City and county libraries except Newport Beach.

* Banks and savings and loans.

* Mail: There will be no mail pickup or delivery, but mail dropped at a post office will be posted.

* Trash: Trash collection agencies will maintain regular pickup schedules.

* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on regular schedule.

* Parks: All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open during regular hours.
