Oracle Announces Two Deals: Oracle Corp. announced deals with two high-profile media organizations. The database company, based in Redwood Shores, Calif., said it plans to work with the Washington Post’s new Digital Ink electronic publishing subsidiary to develop and market new forms of electronic publications and advertising for use on personal computers, advanced TV systems and portable computers. And it will team with Capital Cities/ABC to develop a new video service, including an interactive customized news service that let allow users request news on specific subjects.
