* Federico Pignatelli has been elected chairman of the board of Laser Medical Technology Inc., a San Clemente manufacturer of laser dental products. He succeeds Guy Levy, who will continue as a director and in a research capacity. Pignatelli is a representative of EuroCapital Ltd., Laser Medical’s investment banking firm. In addition, Ira Fertik, president of the company, has been appointed to the additional post of chief executive, succeeding the interim chief executive, James Moore. Fertik joined the company in October after serving as president and chief operating officer of Sunrise Technologies.
