Melja Deal Completed: Hycor Biomedicals Inc. said Friday that it has completed its acquisition of a German diagnostic products company.

Hycor in Irvine, which makes medical products, said that it bought Melja Diagnostik, which sells allergy diagnostic products and other autoimmunity and infectious disease products to clinical laboratories in Germany.

Melja, which is based in Kassel, Germany, had sales of about $2.1 million in 1992. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
