Manufacturing Deal: The Cerplex Group Inc., an equipment repair company, has signed a five-year deal with a leading in-room, pay-per-view entertainment and information service to take over a manufacturing operation.

Cerplex, based in Anaheim, will make electronics and other equipment needed for hotel-room systems used by the Spectradyne subsidiary of SPI Holding Inc. in Richardson, Tex.

The manufacturing facility being taken over by Cerplex will be called Certech Technology Inc. and will be located on leased property at Spectradyne’s headquarters.
