WOMEN’S BASKETBALL : USC Rallies to Beat Arizona

Lisa Leslie scored 20 points and Nicky McCrimmon added 17 as ninth-ranked USC rallied from a 12-point second-half deficit to defeat Arizona, 76-65, Thursday night at Tucson.
Trailing, 54-42, with 13:36 to play, the Trojans, 12-1 overall and 5-0 in the Pacific 10 Conference, took the lead for good at 59-58 and finished the run at 61-58 on McCrimmon’s steal and layup with 6:34 to play. Arizona (8-4, 2-2) was led by Kim Conway with 17 points.
UCLA 84, Arizona State 59--Zrinka Kristich scored 20 points and had eight rebounds and Natalie Williams added 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Bruins (8-6, 3-2) won at Tempe, Ariz. The Sun Devils fell to 2-10 and 0-4.
