D.A.N.C.E.

Looking for something to do in a drug-free, alcohol-free environment? You might want to check out D.A.N.C.E. (Drug Alternative Nights and Counseling Events).

Activities include trips to amusement parks, ice and roller skating rinks and dances. Services include counseling for family problems and drug or alcohol abuse.

D.A.N.C.E. was the brainchild of former Los Alamitos High School student Dannah L. Sachs. It is now run by her brother, Nate. Events include adult supervision.

Activities are open to students from all high schools and usually attract between 270 to 550 people.
