OC HIGH / STUDENT NEWS & VIEWS : Charity Begins in Word and Deed
If the curriculum at Calvary Chapel High School includes charity and kindness, it definitely fell upon deaf ears of two of its students.
The unkind remarks made regarding President Clinton and a member of his family in the Quote Me column (Jan. 20) were two of the three unkind references made about specific individuals (in response to the question, “What is your worst nightmare (dream or otherwise”)).
I think these children need to think before they speak unkindly about a person, whether or not they disagree with their politics. Personally attacking someone is not exactly what my religion teaches.
We all need a little charity in “word” and deed in this world.
