Nation IN BRIEF : NEW YORK : Trade Center Jury Sees Captured Video
The prosecution in the World Trade Center bombing case played a videotape seized from one of the defendants that showed commando-style raids, including the blowing up of a building with an American flag on top. The videotape was found with other bomb-making books and manuals in the suitcase of Ahmad Ajaj when he tried to enter the country with a fake Swedish passport in September, 1992. He was serving a six-month prison sentence for illegally entering the country when the bomb went off Feb. 26, killing six people and injuring more than 1,000 at the world’s largest office complex.
