LOS ANGELES : ‘I Still Love L.A.’ Stickers to Benefit Salvation Army

Share

The Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles will sell bumper stickers with a morale-boosting message to raise the spirits of disaster-ravaged Angelenos while raising money for victims.

The stickers pay tribute to the indomitable spirit of those who have overcome all manner of disasters in recent years and stayed in the area, said chamber executive director Harrison Kim.

The stickers carry the message, “After the Riot, Floods, Fires and Earthquakes, I Still Love L.A.” They will sell for $1 apiece, with proceeds going to the Salvation Army’s Operation We Care program, Kim said. The stickers will be sold through the mail and, if all goes well, at chain convenience stores and independent businesses, Kim said.

Stickers are available from the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles, 3350 Wilshire Blvd., Suite. 660, Los Angeles 90010.

Checks for money orders should be made out to “I Still Love L.A.” and orders of fewer than 20 should include a stamped, self-addressed envelope. For orders of 20 or more, Kim said, the chamber will pay postage.
