Whittier Christian 47, Capistrano Valley Christian 40--Ed Zieman made four consecutive free throws and the Heralds made 11 of 12 in the fourth quarter to secure the victory. Trevor Ream had nine points for host Whittier Christian (17-3, 8-1). Steve Bishop scored 12 points for Capistrano Valley Christian (3-18, 1-8).

Brethren Christian 62, Orange Lutheran 32--Karriem Blake had a game-high 13 points, and Andy Brown had 10 points and nine rebounds for Brethren Christian (14-8, 6-3). Tom Howard had a team-high nine points for Orange Lutheran (2-16, 1-7).

Esperanza 60, Cypress 10--Tyler Monson (125 pounds) pinned Jose Barrios in four minutes and Brett Sheffield (103) beat Doug Burke, 16-1, for Esperanza (2-3, 2-2).
