WALNUT : Applications Open for New Senior Patrol
Up to 12 senior citizens are being sought for a volunteer uniformed Senior Patrol program beginning April 1.
Applicants must be at least 50 years old and have a valid California driver’s license, and automobile and health insurance. Those chosen will work at least one six- to eight-hour shift weekly. They will patrol city streets in a city car marked “Senior Patrol,” which will be equipped with a cellular phone for reporting graffiti or suspicious activity.
