MONTEBELLO : School District Chief Gets 3-Year Extension
Montebello Unified School District board members have extended Supt. Darline Robles’ contract for three years, but her salary will remain at $100,000 next year.
Board President Darrell H. Heacock said board members are pleased with Robles’ performance in the financially ailing district. The superintendent’s car allowance was raised from $300 to $500 per month and the board also added a $5,000 contribution to her life insurance or retirement plan, said Jeff Marderosian, the district’s attorney.
Robles’ contract, which was scheduled to expire in February, 1995, was extended to February, 1998.
