USC Women Win Again

Lisa Leslie had 28 points and 15 rebounds to lead the fourth-ranked USC women’s basketball team to an 82-62 victory over Washington State on Thursday night at Pullman, Wash.

The victory was the 11th in a row for the Trojans, who are 17-1 overall and 10-0 in the Pacific 10 Conference.

USC, which got 16 points and 12 rebounds from Tina Thompson, scored 14 unanswered points after Washington State (7-11, 2-7) closed to within 52-44 with 10:41 to play.

UCLA 65, No. 15 Washington 62--Natalie Williams scored 16 points to help the Bruins (11-8, 6-4) upset the Huskies (15-4, 7-3) at Seattle.
