SANTA ANA : College Will Offer Gun Safety Seminar
Rancho Santiago College will offer a handgun safety seminar Wednesday night designed for anyone at least 18 years old who plans to purchase a handgun.
The seminar will cover safety rules, how to load and unload the weapon and how to identify its parts. It will also prepare students for shooting practice on a range, which is not part of the seminar, said spokesman Dale Ruhe.
The seminar will be held in Room U-204A of the campus, at 17th and Bristol streets. Instruction will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Weapons should not be brought to class, Ruhe said.
The fee for the seminar is $25. For more information or to register, call (714) 564-6220.
