COSTA MESA : District Chancellor Joins Trustees Panel
Coast Community College District Chancellor William M. Vega has been appointed to the advisory committee of presidents for the Assn. of Community College Trustees.
The advisory committee was established to ensure that community college leaders have a voice in evaluating the ACCT’s educational programs.
ACCT is a nonprofit educational organization for members of governing boards at public, private, community, technical and junior colleges whose purpose is to strengthen people’s knowledge of community colleges and how they are governed.
Vega is the fifth chancellor of the Coast Community College district. He previously was president of Coast Community College, one of the district’s three schools, and currently serves on the board of directors of the American Assn. of Community Colleges, a national group promoting the interests of the country’s 1,200 community colleges.
