Trade for McSorley Too Little, Too Late?
As a longtime King fan who had finally seen the team turn the corner to respectability, it upsets me to watch General Manager Nick Beverley tear this team apart. During his two-year tenure, he has traded the likes of All-Stars Paul Coffey, Bob Kudelski, Jimmy Carson and Tomas Sandstrom for players such as Gary Shuchuk, Doug Houda, the venerable Jim Thomson and now Jim Paek.
As Beverley will soon find out, the Kings have many more problems than even Marty McSorley’s broad shoulders can carry.
