Comment About Hayden Was a Cheap Shot
* Your political column suggests “a case of amnesia,” because state Sen. Tom Hayden asked for some greening of a few miles of the Ventura Freeway (Feb. 11). I think this is a cheap shot.
You distract from the valid point that Sen. Hayden is making, that the current administration mismanaged by spending too little on earthquake retrofitting, not that too much was spent on freeway landscaping.
