Man Steals Firetruck, Cools His Heels in Jail

FAIRMONT, W. Va. —
A man broke into an empty fire station, stole a firetruck, crashed it through the station door and led police on a 30-minute chase. He was stopped and arrested at a highway roadblock.
Randall F. Ostrich, 27, was charged with breaking and entering, grand larceny, drunk driving, driving with an expired license and failure to yield to emergency vehicles.
