Staying contemporary is important to Michelle Cheun, 16, of Arcadia High School.

Clothes: “I usually buy Gap, J. Crew or Wet Seal. I just want to follow, like, new fashion. I look at magazines and see what is new fashion for this month.”

Shoes: “These are Dockers. I just like boy-style, army-style.”

Accessories: In accessories, Michelle also tries to sport the newest fashion. “I just like huge, so that everyone can see it.” Hair is also an important part of the look: “My hair is usually curly, but this morning I blew it dry so that it’d go with this outfit.”
