QLogic Corp.: The spinoff from Emulex Corp. began trading on the Nasdaq market Monday as a separate entity. Shareholders of Emulex were given one share of QLogic stock and one share of Emulex stock for each two shares they owned. The computer supply companies have been operating separately for some time in anticipation of the split.
