Communications Satellite in Trouble: The Air Force’s $1.4-billion Milstar communications satellite, launched last month, has experienced a failure of its primary power supply system, according to congressional sources. The Air Force is saying little about the problem, but a congressional expert said the failure could jeopardize the entire spacecraft.
