PASADENA : Target Delivers 10,000 Roses to Promote Store Opening

As a promotional stunt, the new Target store opening Sunday delivered 10,000 roses to city households Friday.

“It’s a way to tell people we’re here and we’re going to be part of the community,” said David Parker, store manager.

The 163,000-square-foot store is in the three-level building at 777 E. Colorado Blvd. that formerly housed Robinson’s department store. Grand opening festivities begin today with an evening laser light show set to music. The doors of the new store will open at 8 a.m. Sunday.
